‘What you’ll be responsible for each day:’
The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to receiving, storage, product packaging, and order fulfillment.
More specifically, the incumbent will:
- Ensure a safe work environment at all times by enforcing health and safety standards
- Guarantee compliance with quality, sanitation, and food safety requirements
- Lead daily operations to efficiently achieve production and performance targets
- Drive team performance through coaching, support, and ongoing development
- Oversee all distribution center activities, including hiring, training, maintenance, and committee participation
- Ensure consistent application of the collective agreement
- Engage and motivate teams by leading structured and dynamic start-of-shift meetings
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
‘The individual who will own this role’
- Bachelor’s degree or DEC in operations management, logistics, administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution within the food industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role (unionized environment is an asset)
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is considered an asset
