Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor who will lead the day-to-day operation of the Nashville warehouse and equipment shop, ensuring that all equipment is safely serviced, accurately tracked, and dispatched on time to meet organizational goals. The role supervises warehouse and shop staff, owns inventory control across our inventory management system, and enforces the standards for equipment inspection, testing, repair, and health and safety compliance across all of the company's product lines. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on technical knowledge of special effects equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Prioritize workloads across the warehouse and shop, and oversee the return, inspection, testing, service/repair, prepping, and shipment of equipment. Provide clear direction to warehouse and shop staff; conduct daily morning meetings to assign tasks and evaluate completed work. Plan and oversee inbound and outbound order processing, including unloading, staging, check-in, put-away, picking, packing, auditing, and loading, ensuring orders are accurate and on time. Train, coach, and develop staff on equipment maintenance procedures, warehouse processes, and safe work practices. Equipment Service & Maintenance Ensure all equipment across the company's product lines, including but not limited to flame, atmospheric, laser, pyro, aqua, and confetti equipment, along with associated cable, hose, and road cases, is properly and systematically inspected, maintained, serviced, repaired, and stored to avoid delays or downtime. Monitor the condition of equipment to prevent failures, ensure all items are tested according to maintenance SOPs, and ensure any equipment deemed unsafe is diagnosed and repaired before returning to service. Ensure staff follow maintenance procedures and submit accurate Equipment Maintenance Logs recording inspection observations, parts used, test protocols, and test results. Provide hands-on technical support for complex troubleshooting and repairs as required. Inventory & Systems Maintain accurate inventory counts. Ensure all inventory transactions in our inventory management system are accurate and processed in a timely manner, and that all equipment is properly scanned and accounted for. Enter quick quotes in our inventory management system to check equipment availability and respond to quote request emails in a timely manner. Execute workflows in our system as each job progresses, check the status of elements, and complete end of day email reports to all stakeholders. Communicate with Project Managers regularly to ensure equipment lists in our system are accurate and updated in a timely manner. Work with management and the inventory team to forecast equipment requirements, offer substitutions, and identify and resolve shortages. Health, Safety & Continuous Improvement Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse free from obstructions, in compliance with all company, local, state, and federal Health and Safety regulations. Enforce strict end of day clean-up and return to a “level-set” status (i.e., all tools returned to proper storage, work areas clean and tidy, etc.). Identify inefficiencies in the movement and storage of equipment and work with the management team to implement improved logistics processes. Work with senior management to develop continuous improvement plans for the warehouse and assist in the execution of such plans. Other duties as assigned.
