Warehouse Supervisor

Objective The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, distribution, and inventory management. This includes strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. Supervise receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping. Organize and manage incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and monitor the condition of items. Maintain and document accurate records on all shipping and receiving. Analyze procedural problems and determine causes of errors and inefficiency. Double-check all items being shipped and received for proper quantities. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and productivity. Operate a forklift safley Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Plan, direct, and maintain an efficient warehouse operation, assigning, inspecting, and overseeing work performance of personnel. Provide guidance and supervision to employees, ensuring that SOPs are understood and followed. Ensure that all warehouse employees are forklift certified. Monitor and maintain inventory levels ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment. Utilize equipment and personnel to maximize productivity. Supervise and motivate a team of workers. Direct and recommend the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. Collaborating with managers and team leaders to implement policies and goals of the company. Education Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma, advanced education preferred. Experience Minimum of three to five years' experience in a warehouse facility. Leadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting preferred. Skills & Knowledge Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills required. Must be licensed to operate lift equipment. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions. Ability to maintain good housekeeping, order, and safety in the workplace. Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills.
