Job Summary TuxMat is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to support the day-to-day leadership of our growing warehouse operation. This role is highly visible on the warehouse floor and is responsible for helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and with care. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to provide consistent floor coverage, reinforce expectations, coach employees in real time and maintain strong standards around productivity, quality and workplace safety. The right person is comfortable being present and engaged on the floor, understands warehouse operations, and knows how to balance urgency with accuracy and care. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent, hands-on supervision and leadership across the warehouse floor. Support the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activities and employees. Ensure employees understand daily priorities, workload expectations and performance standards. Monitor workflow throughout the shift and proactively address bottlenecks, delays or gaps in coverage. Reinforce expectations around productivity, urgency, quality and attention to detail. Ensure products are handled carefully and established procedures are followed to minimize damage. Maintain and reinforce workplace health and safety standards, including required PPE and safe work practices. Coach employees in real time and address performance or conduct concerns as they arise. Support Team Leads and ensure they have clear direction and are effectively managing their areas. Assist with onboarding and training new warehouse employees. Monitor attendance, break coverage, staffing levels and day-to-day deployment of employees. Escalate recurring performance, safety or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager. Work collaboratively with Operations, and Supply Chain to support staffing, performance and operational requirements. Help identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity and overall team effectiveness. Lead by example and contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Lead or similar frontline leadership role. Strong people-leadership skills with the ability to coach, redirect and hold employees accountable. Comfortable spending the majority of the day actively supervising on the warehouse floor. Strong sense of urgency with close attention to quality and detail. Able to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Experience with receiving, picking, packing, shipping and general warehouse operations. Working knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices. Forklift experience or certification is an asset. Experience in a growing or high-volume distribution environment is an asset.
