Warehouse Supervisor
Anta Electric, Inc.Job Overview Anta Electric, Inc, a rapidly growing woman-owned electronics manufacturer with locations in Cedar Knolls, NJ and Clifton Park, NY, is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This role is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of warehouse operations, including Shipping, Receiving, inventory control, material handling, and production support. This role directly oversees the Warehouse Lead and Shipping and Receiving personnel, establishes departmental priorities, ensures appropriate staffing and resource allocation, and maintains accountability for safety, inventory accuracy, customer deliveries, and production requirements. The Warehouse Lead serves as the first point of escalation for routine day-to-day warehouse issues, while the Warehouse Supervisor provides direction, coaching, performance management, and escalation support for significant operational, staffing, inventory, quality, or safety concerns. Leadership & Team Oversight Oversee the daily activities of the Shipping and Receiving teams, including the Warehouse Lead, to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Establish departmental priorities, assign responsibilities, monitor workload, and adjust staffing and resources to meet inbound, outbound, and production requirements. Provide direct leadership, coaching, training, performance feedback, and accountability for the Warehouse Lead and warehouse personnel. Use the Warehouse Lead as the first point of coordination for routine floor-level issues while providing supervisory direction and escalation support as needed. Review operational status, staffing needs, inventory concerns, and workflow challenges communicated by the Warehouse Lead and determine appropriate corrective action. Support onboarding, cross-training, employee development, and workload balancing throughout the warehouse. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and customer service. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on material flow, organization, inventory accuracy, space utilization, and warehouse efficiency. Shipping & Receiving Operations Ensure incoming materials are received, verified against packing lists and purchase orders, inspected for damage or discrepancies, and processed accurately. Oversee shipping and freight operations, including packaging, labeling, bills of lading, documentation, carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, and customer requirements. Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate, properly packaged, documented, and completed on time. Ensure vendor returns and return material authorizations (RMAs) are properly documented, controlled, and coordinated. Inventory & Material Control Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring receipts, issues, transfers, returns, location changes, kitting activity, and material transactions are recorded correctly in Visual Job Shop. Coordinate the timely movement, staging, kitting, release, and delivery of materials between warehouse and production areas. Lead cycle counts, inventory audits, variance investigations, and corrective actions in collaboration with Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Quality. Ensure warehouse locations, kit quantities, material identification, and records are accurate and maintained. Production Support Coordinate with Production and Planning to ensure timely delivery of kits, components, stock requests, and packaging support needed to meet production schedules and customer commitments. Monitor material shortages, shipment risks, and workflow constraints and communicate significant concerns to management and cross-functional teams. Ensure completed-job material is counted, documented, and returned to the proper inventory location. Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
