ganization to find an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for its modern Belleville distribution centre.
This is an opportunity to join a new, 200,000+ square-foot facility equipped with advanced warehouse technology, automation and modern material-handling systems.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being where the action is: on the floor, leading people, solving problems and keeping a busy distribution operation moving.
This isn't a position for someone who needs every decision made for them. You'll have support from management, but you'll also be trusted to take ownership of your shift, set expectations and make sound decisions when priorities change.
What You'll Be Responsible For
• Lead, coach and support approximately 25 unionized warehouse employees.
• Oversee afternoon outbound operations, including workflow, shipping priorities and productivity.
• Make timely decisions when staffing, volumes or operational priorities change.
• Build accountability through clear expectations, fair feedback and consistent follow-through.
• Coordinate labour, assignments, schedules and daily operational requirements.
• Monitor safety, quality, inventory accuracy and service performance.
• Train, develop and support employees in a growing, technology-driven environment.
• Collaborate with other Supervisors and operational leadership to continuously improve performance.
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution or logistics.
• Proven experience supervising or leading warehouse or operational employees.
• Confidence making decisions independently and addressing performance concerns.
• Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a leadership style that is firm, fair, approachable and accountable.
• Ability to earn respect through operational knowledge, consistency and leading by example.
• Experience with SAP, ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
Experience supervising unionized employees is an asset, but we're equally interested in candidates who have successfully led demanding warehouse teams and can adapt to a collective agreement.
