Overview
We are looking for an agile supervisor to lead a team of logistics and materials management staff ensuring physical inventory quantity and location is mirrored in our SAP virtual system. You and your team fulfil the external and internal materials management demands of shipping, receiving, picking and inventory. This position is for full time afternoons; occasional rotation to day , midnight and weekend shifts for training and support will be required.

Your Tasks:
- Stay updated on federal, provincial, and local legislation and requirements for warehousing, shipping and material handling and ensure that our warehouse complies
- Project supervisor of warehouse projects by supervising a cross functional team. Supervise a digital transformation on materials management processes.
- Set up material storage layout in the most efficient way
- Create and supervise receiving warehousing material staging and shipping processes and procedures and confirm staff compliance
- Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Maintain the integrity of the facility through cycle counts, Kanban counts and various audits including 5S and ISO audits in all inventory areas
- Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of warehouse environment and all assets
- Supervise, hire and train new warehouse employees
- Oversee all unionized warehouse employees including creating schedules, providing coaching, mentoring, and issuing corrective action when required
- Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and replacements when required
- Prepare inventory reports on slow non-moving and obsolete inventory and bring them to resolution
- Provide SAP user support to our employees when required
- Be involved in Racking, Fencing, labeling, Staging and control of the warehouse
- Train and educate warehouse personnel in proper function of SAP Digitization and Bar coding

Requirements:
- Certification in materials management, business, operations or related field is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of warehousing / logistics / materials management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years experience with inventory cycle counting and reconciliation.
- Dangerous goods training and management of process
- Experience in design and implementation of warehouse storage layout and create, implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance and warehouse best practices
- Knowledge of all shipping and receiving functions
- Skills in inventory control and management
- SAP experience in MM, WM, IM is required; Warehouse Management software experience
- Skills in Microsoft Office MS365 with advanced MS Excel skills
- Financial and analytical capabilities to monitor inventory, assess data and create reports
Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Forklift and warehouse power equipment experience, ideally as a trainer.
- Ability to work in severe weather conditions when required

In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to$105,000 / Annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations.
