Warehouse Supervisor
Sensible Micro CorpWarehouse Supervisor We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at Sensible Micro’s Tampa facility. This role oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, safety, and warehouse personnel to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient operations. Sensible Micro is a certified distributor and supply chain solutions partner serving OEM and EMS electronic manufacturers. For nearly two decades, we have supported customers—including Fortune 500 companies—with integrated circuits, semiconductors, and related hardware. What You’ll Do Supervise daily receiving, inspection, inventory, order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping activities. Lead, train, schedule, and develop warehouse associates while promoting accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment. Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, transaction reviews, and discrepancy resolution. Ensure inventory is properly stored, identified, labeled, handled, and documented in company systems. Monitor workflow, staffing, and warehouse performance to meet service and productivity goals. Maintain compliance with safety policies, quality standards, operating procedures, and audit requirements. Coordinate routine facility upkeep and external service providers as needed. Partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Finance to resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory issues. Track key warehouse metrics and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping and receiving, or supply chain. 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping operations, and warehouse processes. Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field. Experience in electronics distribution, semiconductor, OEM, EMS, or another high-value inventory environment. Exposure to ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs., perform occasional repetitive inventory and packaging tasks, and safely operate warehouse equipment and material-handling tools.
