TPI CompositesThe Warehouse Supervisor serves as the operational leader for warehouse activities, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory management, storage, shipping, and production support functions to maintain uninterrupted operations and support manufacturing goals. Through strong leadership and a continuous improvement mindset, the Warehouse Supervisor develops teams, drives inventory accuracy, optimizes warehouse processes, and partners with cross-functional departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance objectives. Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement, and shipping activities. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support production schedules and customer requirements. Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Maintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory controls, cycle counts, audits, and transaction management. Monitor material flow and warehouse performance to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and operational effectiveness. Coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources to support warehouse and manufacturing requirements. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational issues, implementing corrective actions and sustainable solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse organization, inventory management, productivity, and cost reduction. Collaborate with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure material availability and support overall plant objectives. Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to improve warehouse performance and service levels. Support employee development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives. Leadership Scope Direct Reports Warehouse Associates Material Handlers Forklift Operators Other assigned warehouse personnel Reporting Relationship Reports directly to the Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or Operations Manager Accountability The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for: Inventory accuracy Material availability and delivery performance Warehouse safety and compliance Shipping and receiving execution Warehouse productivity and efficiency Team development and performance Material flow optimization Continuous improvement results Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education, training, and warehouse leadership experience will be considered. 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, including team leadership experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management preferred. Experience with ERP, warehouse management, and inventory management systems, including cycle counting, inventory control practices, and materials planning processes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through coaching, accountability, employee engagement, performance management, and employee development. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
