Job Description: · The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. · This role oversees inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics activities while driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. · The Warehouse Supervisor provides both strategic and hands-on leadership, ensuring high levels of customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency. · This position plays a critical role in supporting business objectives through effective warehouse management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. This position supports first-shift schedule: · Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required to cover overtime during the week based on business needs. What will you do? · Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. · Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow to meet business and customer requirements. · Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance, resolving issues, optimizing warehouse layouts, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. · Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety. · Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless operational execution. · Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance. Who will you report to? · Warehouse Manager What qualifications will make you successful? · Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. · Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education · 3+ years of relevant experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment with at least 2 of these years in a leadership role (leading teams of 15+). · Strong understanding of material logistics processes, inventory accuracy/systems, and production/order requirements. · Experience with ERP & WMS systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred) preferred) · Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC). · Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and operational standardization. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis with the ability to make data-driven decisions. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
