Together, we collaborate with like-minded people and pursue bold ideas that elevate the flooring experience The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor’s responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, prioritizing health and safety, ensuring the quality of goods shipped and received, and preparing relevant documentation. To be successful as a Warehouse Supervisor you should be experienced in optimizing warehouse processes, be an effective team leader and hold individuals accountable. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of all activities. Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees, providing direction, performance feedback, and ongoing development. Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to coordinate warehouse activities and support overall operational objectives. Oversee inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with established picking, checking, receiving, and shipping procedures. Monitor, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity, operational metrics, and employee performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, and other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies and address operational issues. Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, handling, and timely distribution of goods and materials. Verify orders, packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and deliveries for accuracy and completeness. Maintain accurate warehouse records, prepare required documentation, and ensure timely reporting of relevant operational information. Conduct daily inspections of warehouse facilities and grounds, identifying and addressing potential safety or maintenance concerns. Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and established safe work practices. Knowledge & Skills Required 5+ years experience in a fast-paced warehousing/distribution work environment 2-3 years of experience leading a team in a similar role Certified to operate sit-down counterbalance forklift, with minimum 5 years operating experience. Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis. Proficient in SAP and/or distribution-based WMS, Microsoft Office Post-secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent work experience Strong customer orientation and outstanding people skills Ability to problem solve, mentor, and motivate Bilingual in Spanish is an asset.
