Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment while managing performance and development. Oversee the operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and material handling machinery, ensuring safety and proper use. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline workflows. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques; conduct regular audits. Coordinate logistics activities for timely distribution and delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards like OSHA regulations. Utilize RF scanners and other technology to track shipments, update inventory data, and facilitate efficient shipping & receiving processes. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, operations, and logistics management. Must be fluent in English Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong leadership skills with proven team management and managerial communication abilities. Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts safely; certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy lifting, materials handling, and warehouse safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and distribution center operations.
