Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff through effective team management, providing clear communication and performance feedback. Oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Manage inventory control systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners, to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics activities related to distribution center operations, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of goods. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management systems, and logistics operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and materials handling equipment operation. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster teamwork. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, shipping & receiving procedures, and lean management techniques. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining attention to safety protocols.
