Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; conduct regular audits for accuracy. Coordinate logistics activities with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and shipment schedules. Enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting safety training sessions and inspections regularly. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within distribution center operations. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, logistics, and materials handling. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and RF scanners. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively through managerial communication and team leadership. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery as required in warehouse environments. Familiarity with OSHA standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance.
