Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, optimize inventory management, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, foster a safety-first environment, and elevate team performance. Duties Supervise all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage warehouse distribution operations, coordinating with logistics providers and 3PL partners to meet delivery deadlines. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase productivity across the warehouse. Oversee inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff and supervisors to uphold safety standards, including OSHA regulations, while fostering a collaborative team environment. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and other regulatory requirements. Utilize mechanical knowledge and forklift certifications to oversee heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently. Monitor shipping & receiving procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to quality standards. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management, including inventory management, distribution logistics, and process optimization. Strong leadership skills with proven team management capabilities in a warehouse or logistics environment. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation including forklifts; certified as required by OSHA standards. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues related to heavy lifting or materials handling machinery. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control techniques, and heavy lifting safety protocols.
