Job Title:        Warehouse Supervisor

Location:         Burlington, NJ

Reports to:      Jerry McDougle, VP of Warehouse Operations.

 

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates all activities in the warehouse department to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing product and employee concerns, and resolving problems. This role ensures efficient, safe, and compliant handling of goods while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

 

  • Supervise warehouse personnel and assign daily tasks to maximize productivity. 
  • Oversee all phases of warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading, and material handling. 
  • Monitor receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Maintain inventory control and minimize product loss. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, and operational procedures in compliance with OSHA and company policies. 
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members; provide feedback and manage performance. 
  • Establish and monitor employee work schedules to meet business needs. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Prepare reports and maintain time/shipping records. 
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity. 
  • Lead by example in following company policies and standards. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum of 2 years warehouse experience. 
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Operational knowledge of warehouse systems and logistics. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and lead others through change.
