Job Description: About the Role: As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Pecatonica, IL, plant, a manufacturer of quality non-dairy creamers. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including supervising warehouse team members, supporting inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role focuses on driving day-to-day operational efficiency, fostering employee engagement, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the facility. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Lead and manage warehouse team members by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring schedules and productivity targets are met. Serve as a liaison between the warehouse, production plants, and corporate operations to resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities. Promote and actively participate in safety programs, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations. Oversee receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy to support timely and accurate order fulfillment. Review and approve warehouse invoices against contracts for payment processing. Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, encouraging a culture of teamwork and operational excellence. Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective actions to enhance team performance. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. Ensure adherence to company policies, plant procedures, and collective bargaining agreements, if applicable.
