The person in this role will work to effectively manage all warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. This position plays a key part in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting both internal teams and external customers. As a hands-on leader, this person will oversee warehouse workflow, guide staff, and ensure orders and materials move efficiently through the organization. Warehouse staff will report directly to this person.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and oversee daily shipping and receiving duties performed primarily by warehouse staff. This includes pick and prepare outgoing orders via various shipping carriers, and signing for incoming courier packages and verify goods received.
  • Supervise warehouse staff
  • Work with sales team to fulfil large complex, out of the ordinary or one time orders.
  • Investigate defective materials, short shipments, over shipments and/or any other variances and discrepancies.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
  • Responsible to delegate maintenance of the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. This includes labeling and putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal
  • Oversee and contribute to perform daily inventory cycle counts, and investigate inventory variances.
  • Perform and assist in other general warehouse duties and projects as assigned.
  • Oversee the [email protected] inbox, reviewing all incoming emails and responding promptly and appropriately. Responsibilities include providing freight estimates, assisting with customs clearance, tracking shipments, and preventing package loss. Issue call tags, monitor tariffs to ensure cost accuracy, and identify opportunities to minimize expenses. Manage overall freight costs, ensuring they are properly accounted for and reconciled against related revenue.

What You Need:

  • High School diploma
  • Supply Chain or Logistics Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a warehouse or operations role
  • Team management experience is an asset
  • Fluent in English language
