Warehouse Supervisor
Sysgration America CorporationRole Overview The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, storage, and kitting in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This position ensures materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered to production in a timely manner while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and housekeeping. The Warehouse Supervisor leads and develops warehouse personnel, coordinates closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Administrative teams, and helps ensure uninterrupted material flow throughout the manufacturing operation. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations · Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection coordination, material movement, storage, picking, kitting, and shipping. · Ensure raw materials, components, finished goods, and production supplies are properly identified, labeled, stored, and controlled. · Coordinate material movement between receiving, warehouse, production, and finished-goods areas. · Ensure production orders are accurately and efficiently kitted and staged according to production schedules. · Monitor warehouse workload and adjust staffing and priorities to support production requirements. · Establish and maintain organized warehouse locations and efficient material flow. · Ensure proper handling and storage of electronic components and other sensitive materials. Inventory Control · Maintain accurate physical and system inventory levels through proper transactions, cycle counts, and inventory audits. · Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in partnership with Materials, Purchasing, Production, and Finance. · Ensure proper lot, date-code, serial-number, and traceability requirements are maintained where applicable. · Support annual physical inventory counts and periodic cycle-count programs. · Ensure materials are transacted accurately within the ERP/MRP system. Electronics Manufacturing Material Control · Ensure appropriate handling and storage of electronic components, PCBs, assemblies, and other production materials. · Maintain compliance with ESD handling and storage requirements where applicable. · Support moisture-sensitive device (MSD) handling requirements, including proper identification, storage, and control. · Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed where required by material type or customer requirements. · Maintain material traceability and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements. Shipping and Receiving · Oversee receiving activities and ensure incoming materials are accurately counted, identified, and routed for inspection or storage. · Coordinate with Quality regarding incoming inspection requirements and material discrepancies. · Ensure outgoing shipments are accurately picked, packed, labeled, documented, and shipped according to customer requirements. · Resolve receiving and shipping discrepancies promptly. · Ensure appropriate handling of customer-owned, consigned, or controlled materials. Leadership and Supervision · Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees. · Establish daily priorities and communicate expectations clearly to the warehouse team. · Conduct training on warehouse procedures, material handling, safety, quality, and ERP transactions. · Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Safety and Compliance · Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. · Ensure employees follow OSHA, company safety, material handling, and equipment operating requirements. · Ensure proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment. · Maintain compliance with ESD, material handling, quality, and customer-specific requirements. · Immediately report safety hazards, quality concerns, inventory discrepancies, or material-control issues.
