Quick Hands Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations. This role will manage all aspects of the warehouse that include but are not limited to safety, development, personnel scheduling, and workload assignments. Responsible for training, counseling, coaching, disciplinary action, and writing reviews. Process and approve payroll, time off requests. Communicates effectively with all necessary Quick Hands Logistics departments regarding change procedures, initiatives, and program rollouts. Work closely with customers to maintain operations up to Quick Hands Logistics standards. Establish and manage proper workflow to ensure daily, weekly and monthly, reporting and requirements are met. Responsibilities: Job Title: Operations Supervisor Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor is a hands-on, results-driven leader responsible for the safe, organized, efficient, and profitable execution of warehouse and container operations. This position directly supervises a staff of up to 30 employees, maintains a strong floor presence, and holds employees accountable for meeting established productivity, quality, safety, and KPI standards. The Supervisor is expected to actively monitor work from start to finish, minimize non-productive time, maintain individual employee efficiency at 98% or higher against established performance standards, and continuously improve labor utilization and operational performance. The role works closely with the onsite client to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Responsibilities may differ depending on the location of the assignment. Responsibilities: Maintain adequate staffing, equipment, and supplies for scheduled hours of operation at each location. Directly lead, organize, schedule, coach, and hold accountable a workforce of up to 30 employees. Maintain a visible, hands-on floor presence and stay engaged with staff throughout each assignment to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within established KPI standards. Monitor individual and team productivity in real time, identify delays or non-productive time, and take immediate corrective action to keep work moving efficiently. Maintain a target efficiency rate of 98% or higher per employee against established productivity standards; document performance gaps and implement coaching or corrective action as appropriate. Create, implement, manage, and report operational KPIs, including labor efficiency, container completion time, units handled, quality, safety, attendance, and other client or company performance measures. Use KPI data to identify bottlenecks, labor inefficiencies, excessive container completion times, and opportunities to improve profitability. Run a lean operation by aligning staffing to workload, eliminating wasted motion and waiting time, balancing labor, improving workflow, and driving continuous improvement. Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to standardize work, improve processes, reduce variation and waste, and increase throughput. Set clear daily production expectations and container quotas; assign labor and resources based on workload and performance requirements. Ensure container quotas are met daily, including approximately 5-10 loaded containers and 10-20 unloaded containers, or site-specific targets. Uphold company policies and consistently hold employees accountable to attendance, conduct, productivity, quality, and safety standards. Train and coach employees; identify individual strengths and performance gaps and develop employees to improve efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork. Maintain a safe workplace by enforcing all safety policies, conducting routine observations, correcting unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately, and promoting a safety-first culture.
