Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safe and efficient usage. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; perform regular cycle counts and audits. Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Coordinate logistics activities related to distribution center operations, including shipping schedules and receiving procedures. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, operations, or logistics environments with a proven track record in warehouse supervision. Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and inventory management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication purposes. Skilled in the operation of warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners. Exceptional team management abilities coupled with effective managerial communication skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and lean management practices to streamline processes.
