Warehouse Supervisor (2nd shift) 3pm to Close

Second Shift Warehouse Supervisor (3:00 PM – Close) Lead second-shift warehouse operations from 3:00 PM until close (typically midnight), overseeing personnel, inventory, and shipments to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations. You will guide the team through daily priorities, support distribution and logistics functions, and maintain an organized and productive facility. Your Impact: By ensuring safe and accurate shipping and receiving, you help deliver the right materials to our customers and internal teams, on time. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support team members across warehouse operations, materials handling, and distribution activities. Coordinate shipping and receiving, inventory control, and inventory management utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Utilize RF scanners and Microsoft Office tools to track work, review records, and communicate shift updates. Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment; enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance.Identify and implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance accuracy, workflow, and team performance. Train, supervise, and develop staff through effective coaching, communication, and motivational leadership. Conduct daily operational checks to ensure all orders are completed on time and production goals are met; maintain a clean and safe work environment. Monitor associate attendance, performance, and productivity; manage corrective and disciplinary actions as needed. Meet and track KPIs and individual production metrics. Lead daily shift meetings to review priorities, discuss improvements, and determine implementation plans. Train employees on safe equipment operation and daily work procedures. Complete accurate End-of-Day reports. Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse operations, including distribution, warehouse management, and logistics. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with strong managerial communication skills. Experience with inventory management, inventory control, and WMS. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for extended periods. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. Certified and proficient in safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures. Familiarity with lean management and OSHA standards preferred. Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
