Warehouse Supervisor

Constantine Wines (CWI) is a family-owned company entering its 40th year in business. We distribute wine and related products throughout DC, MD, and DE and have enjoyed a great reputation from a loyal customer base. We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and drivers. You’ll be responsible for routing deliveries, loading trucks, overseeing our warehouse operations, and ensuring inventories, shipments, and deliveries are accurate and organized. You will be required to help pick and stage orders for deliveries and operate our forklift and reach truck. Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively. Candidate must show professionalism at all times and possess strong skills in all operational aspects, including hiring, firing, time management, and routing, as well as thrive in a hands-on work environment. Compensation: Range:$48,000-$55,000 Negotiable and commensurable based on knowledge and experience Responsibilities: · Handle the day-to-day operations and warehouse activities to ensure the facility runs smoothly and our customers are satisfied with their deliveries Inventory is received and put away accurately, and locations are maintained in our computer system Orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner · Make sure our facility and team members are following all state and federal safety regulations · Hire, fire, train, and manage drivers and warehouse staff and create a work schedule that will maximize their productivity · Manage delivery fleet and warehouse equipment maintenance · Route deliveries and load trucks in the morning to ensure drivers get out on time with the correct orders · Communicate clearly with company leaders, sales reps, office staff, and team members · Key Holder, Open and close. · Personally operate and train all warehouse employees on all equipment Qualifications: · Applicants must pass a thorough background check · Must have forklift certification · General knowledge of the state and federal safety regulations as they pertain to the position · Jobseekers must have prior work experience in warehousing in a managerial or supervisory role leading a warehouse team, or in a similar position in a related work environment · Applicants should have demonstrated exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills in a prior role Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
