Position Overview JOB DESCRIPTION The position is responsible for supervising all assigned warehouse departments in such a manner that material flow is processed efficiently and accurately while meeting defined productivity and cost objectives. The person in this position is also responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to operate various power industrial equipment (forklifts) Ensure material is received and shipped correctly and efficiently Assign sales orders to material handlers Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting Meet defined productivity, safety and cost objectives Coordinate efficient material and workflow through all warehouse departments Develop and implement process improvements Maintain good housekeeping Train material handlers in job responsibilities Ability to train and instruct new forklift operators Regularly conduct evaluations of forklift operators Effectively manage assigned work force Discipline within company guidelines Supervisory Responsibility This position is responsible for supervising all warehouse employees.
