ere looking for a Ration Clerk to join our team at the U.Army Soldier Systems Center dining this position youll be the backbone of our supply chainmaking sure our kitchen staff always have what they need to serve great meals. Keep accurate records of food inventory so everything is accounted for. Receive deliveries check shipments against purchase orders and ensure everything matches up.
Organize and store supplies with care rotating perishable items using FIFO methods. Maintain clean safe and organized storage areas refrigerators and freezers. Prepare clear inventory and usage reports for management.
Work closely with vendors kitchen staff and internal teams to coordinate supply needs. Stock shelves rotate merchandise and create neat appealing displays. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory control food service operations or supply coordination.
Experience working in a food service dining facility warehouse stockroom or similar environment.
Bonus If You Have These Skills: Experience interacting with vendors kitchen staff or internal teams in a serviceâoriented setting.
Experience using basic recordâkeeping methods inventory logs or simple reporting tools. Basic understanding of food safety best practices. Ability to follow procedures safety rules and sanitation standards consistently.
