In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently stocking, organizing, and managing inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment and optimal warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to a fast-paced logistics operation. Duties Stock shelves and storage areas accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure inventory integrity. Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy machinery following OSHA safety standards. Pick orders efficiently with <PERSON> pickers and other order picking tools to meet daily shipping deadlines. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and load & unload machinery safely and effectively. Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly handling materials and ensuring safe storage practices. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve overall warehouse workflow. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling machinery; certification preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or construction environments is advantageous. Training is paid but at $12/hour, once full time pay will be $15/ hour to start Knowledge of materials handling techniques including load & unload procedures and the use of various heavy-duty tools.
