Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Stock Picker, you will be responsible for accurately collecting, organizing, and preparing products for shipment. Your role ensures timely order fulfillment and helps maintain smooth warehouse operations.
• Pick items from assigned warehouse locations based on detailed order requirements.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Verify products are labeled correctly and stored in proper areas.
• Inspect items for damage and report any issues to supervisory staff.
• Complete order fulfillment tasks accurately within designated timeframes.
• Participate in inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and standard procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or order picking preferred.
• Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and handle heavy items.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and standard practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order processing software.
• Forklift certification or prior experience operating similar machinery.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
