Warehouse station Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Warehouse Station Officer to oversee security and safety operations within our warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure facility by implementing access control measures, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Your expertise in security protocols, incident management, and emergency response will ensure the safety of personnel, inventory, and property. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a secure and efficient warehouse operation through active patrolling, surveillance, and adherence to security regulations. Duties Monitor and control access points using access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse, yard, and surrounding areas to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards Operate CCTV systems for continuous surveillance of the facility and respond promptly to suspicious activities or incidents Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security checks or emergency situations Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing fire safety procedures, administering first aid or CPR when needed, and coordinating with emergency services Enforce compliance with security regulations, company policies, and safety standards at all times Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, preferably within a military or law enforcement context Knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and incident report writing Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is highly desirable Familiarity with physical security measures such as patrolling, access control systems, firearm handling, and conflict de-escalation strategies Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough screening procedures for visitors or personnel Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflict management situations effectively Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and long periods of patrolling or standing throughout shifts Join us in creating a safe warehouse environment where security excellence meets proactive service!
