MKT Fastening LLCWarehouse Specialist The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Their primary role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and arranging stock, and fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner. Warehouse specialists ensure efficient material handling, including proper storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics, optimize space utilization, and implement safety protocols. Warehouse Specialist Responsibilities Include: --Verify accuracy, quality and quantities of delivered materials against receiving documents and purchase order. --Inspect all incoming shipments for visible damage or discrepancies, report issues to the carrier, and file a claim. --Coordinate damaged or incorrect shipments to the purchasing team to process and return items. --Accurately record received and shipped items in the ERP system and Excel to ensure tracking of items. --Document the movement of product between subcontractors and our production facility, ensuring accurate counts and proper tracking and traceability with appropriate paperwork, e.g., Bill of Lading, and packing slips. --Ensure all products sent to customers, warehouses and subcontractors are weighed and labeled correctly for easy identification and traceability. --Coordinate the outbound logistics related to customer orders, warehouse stock and subcontractor products. --Route materials to prescribed storage locations within the facility. --Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods. --Examine stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage. --Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. --Pick products from the warehouse and process customer orders. Warehouse Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Inventory Management : Proficiency in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and implementing efficient tracking systems. Logistics and Supply Chain : Understanding of logistics principles, including shipping, receiving, and distribution processes. Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and best practices. Material Handling : Experience in safely and effectively operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and adherence to safety guidelines. Organizational Skills : Ability to effectively organize and arrange stock within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and facilitating efficient retrieval and replenishment processes. Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and shipping. Ability to identify discrepancies, perform quality checks, and maintain high standards of accuracy. Computer Skills : Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software. Familiarity with barcode scanning technology and experience in generating reports and analyzing data. Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments effectively. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and one to two years of related experience.
