Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will oversee the smooth movement of materials throughout our warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, shipment processing, and operational workflows, all while maintaining safety standards.
• Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming products and materials.
• Carefully pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all details are correct.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety guidelines.
• Keep inventory organized and track materials using warehouse management software.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks to meet delivery schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work with the team to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or distribution role.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and generating reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in demanding conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certification or training in handling material handling equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or snack food environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Hourly pay between $16–$35, based on experience and skill level (for a 40-hour workweek).
