Warehouse Specialist

Job Overview As a Warehouse Specialist, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, storing, tracking, and preparing materials for shipment. You’ll support warehouse distribution and logistics while using equipment and inventory systems safely and accurately. Your impact: Accurate inventory control and order fulfillment help coworkers locate materials and customers receive complete, timely shipments. Duties Handle shipping and receiving, load and unload deliveries, and verify items against records. Pick, pack, package, stock, and stage orders using an RF scanner and warehouse management system (WMS). Operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment as authorized. Maintain inventory records using inventory management software; experience with AS400 is useful. Follow safety regulations and protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely. Qualifications Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, distribution, materials handling, inventory management, or order fulfillment. Basic math skills and technical proficiency to scan, count, and record stock accurately. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely; relevant experience with heavy equipment is preferred. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus; strong attention to detail and a dependable approach are essential.
