Warehouse Specialist

Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and crane systems to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, perform stock counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping and receiving, ensuring timely order fulfillment in accordance with customer specifications Conduct manual handling of materials with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering strictly to safety regulations such as OSHA standards Load and unload trucks using appropriate heavy equipment while maintaining safety protocols and proper lifting techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment and optimize workflow efficiency Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation, preparing packages for dispatch, and managing inbound/outbound logistics Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400) Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and materials handling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes, and logistics coordination Technical proficiency with inventory management software and RF scanners for efficient stock tracking We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive environment where every team member can thrive.
