Warehouse Specialist

Job Title: Warehouse Specialist Reports To: Production Supervisor Department: Manufacturing FSLA: Non- Exempt: Hourly Status: Fulltime Job Summary: A warehouse specialist manages daily inventory, processes incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintains safety and organization in a storage facility. Duties: Shipping and Receiving : Unload delivery trucks, inspect goods for damage, and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders. Inventory Control : Track stock levels, log items into warehouse management software or ERP systems, and conduct routine cycle counts. Quality Control : Make critical measurements and document results following the Q.C. checklist. Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and label products accurately for customer orders or internal distribution. Equipment Operation : Safely operate material-handling machinery like overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Facility Safety : Keep the work area clean, follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, and report hazardous conditions. Qualifications: Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience : 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory tracking, or material handling preferred. Technical Skills : Basic computer literacy. Pay Range: $20-$25 an hour, depending on experience Work Environment: · Must be able to stand for long periods of time. · Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds without difficulty. · Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and assemble small parts with hands. Work in semi-climate control warehouses, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. QuickTie is an equal opportunity employer.
