Warehouse Specialist Hourly · Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm · Salt Lake City area, in person Position Overview Bering is growing, and we’re adding a new Warehouse Specialist position to support that growth. This is a hands-on warehouse role: you’ll receive and store materials, pick and prepare orders, and keep product moving accurately and on time, including time-sensitive orders that support our clients. You’ll also back up our delivery driver by driving large commercial vehicles when the driver is out or a rush delivery needs to go out. The warehouse work is physically demanding and priorities can change quickly, so flexibility matters. Your work directly drives efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is an in-person, hourly position in the Salt Lake City area, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and organize all incoming material deliveries Store materials and keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized Pick and prepare orders, making sure every product leaving the warehouse matches the pick ticket Prioritize and fast-track time-sensitive orders, including items supporting CP Build Load and secure deliveries to prevent damage Operate all types of forklifts (Classes 1-5 and 7) and other warehouse equipment Complete inventory and shipping paperwork accurately Report damaged, short, or incorrect product right away Follow all DOT and company safety requirements Back up our delivery driver by driving large commercial vehicles and delivering orders when the driver is out or a rush order needs to go out Shift between tasks as priorities change Qualifications Required: 2+ years experience as a warehouse worker Available Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse work, including lifting up to 75 lbs Commitment to safe work practices: follows all safety procedures, wears required protective equipment, and reports hazards and incidents right away Ability to get certified on the forklifts we use (Classes 1-5 and 7) within the first 30 days (paid by company) Willingness to complete OSHA 10 safety certification within the first 90 days (paid by company) Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Ability to obtain and maintain state DOT certification, including the required DOT medical certification (paid by company), for backup delivery driving Flexibility to adjust as priorities and business needs change Good organizational and time management skills Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, including an MVR Preferred: Forklift experience and familiarity with Classes 1-5 and 7 Experience in flooring or flooring distribution Prior delivery or commercial vehicle driving experience Spanish-speaking Why Join Bering Hourly, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm A new position created to support our growth, with room …
