Role Description The Warehouse Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing shipments of cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, and related products. Day-to-day tasks include verifying incoming and outgoing orders, packing and preparing items for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and safely operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. The Warehouse Specialist will stage materials for customer pickup and deliveries, perform routine warehouse housekeeping, and collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The role requires consistent adherence to safety procedures and efficient handling of materials to support a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Shipping & Receiving skills for processing incoming and outgoing orders accurately. Candidates should possess Packing and Unloading skills to handle materials safely and prepare products for delivery. Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills to track stock levels, perform counts, and maintain organized storage areas. Candidates should possess safe Pallet Jack operation skills and familiarity with basic warehouse equipment. Ability to lift and move materials regularly, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment. Attention to detail, reliability, and strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting. Basic computer skills for inventory systems and order tracking; prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Commitment to safety practices and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
