About the Role: As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities across the United States. Your primary focus will be on managing inventory, coordinating the receipt and dispatch of goods, and maintaining accurate records to support supply chain activities. You will collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and distribution teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet delivery deadlines. This role demands a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to seamless inventory management and customer satisfaction by ensuring products are stored, handled, and shipped correctly. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks with valid certification. Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations in warehouse operations. Previous experience with shipping and receiving documentation and procedures. Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends if needed. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments to verify contents and condition. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory using warehouse management systems to ensure real-time accuracy. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule timely pickups and deliveries. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile stock discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving inventory or shipment issues promptly. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. Skills: The required skills such as attention to detail and organizational ability are essential for accurately managing inventory and ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly. Proficiency with warehouse management systems enables efficient tracking and updating of stock levels, which supports timely decision-making and reduces errors. Physical stamina and safe handling skills are necessary for moving goods and operating equipment, ensuring workplace safety and productivity. Preferred skills like forklift operation and knowledge of safety regulations enhance the ability to perform specialized tasks and maintain compliance with industry standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills facilitate collaboration with colleagues and external partners, contributing to smooth warehouse operations and problem resolution.
