We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to work in our Galt, CA location. The Warehouse Specialist will play a key role in supporting our Parts, Industrial, and Residential teams by managing day-to-day warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and materials. Responsibilities include unloading and loading carriers, receiving and putting away materials, cycle counting, picking and shipping orders, processing goods receipts, and maintaining accurate inventory records. In addition to core warehouse responsibilities, the Warehouse Specialist supports inventory control, stages parts and materials for upcoming jobs, coordinates the facilitation of items in grief, and assists with overall logistics to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed. This role will also be responsible for driving company products between our two Northern California facilities in Galt, CA, and San Leandro, CA , two to three times a week. The anticipated time allocation is approximately 60%–80% at the Galt facility and 20%–40% at the San Leandro facility . This schedule may vary based on business needs and operational demands. A company vehicle will be provided for transportation between the two company facilities. Standard daily tasks include: Receiving : unload inbound trucks and deliveries, adhere to carrier delivery scheduling needs, verify product against packing slips/purchase order, inspect for damage, receive material into ERP system, label product Inventory Management : perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, conduct audits, maintain > 99.95% inventory accuracy across all product lines Order Fulfillment : pick items from storage location, verify accuracy, prep/pack shipments for carrier requirements, prepare shipping documentation, load trucks Material Handling: operate forklifts, pallet jacks, restock picking locations, transport materials between warehouse locations Administrative Duties: update inventory transactions, process returns, maintain documentation and records, support reporting activities Respond to emails and provide status updates to internal & external customers/vendors The position requires: Valid CA Drivers License High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2-5 years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory experience Experience in shipping and receiving operations Experience performing inventory counts and reconciliations Excellent computer & time management skills Detail oriented individual Ability to safely drive a forklift All BCEW team members are expected to embrace and demonstrate our Core Values: ü Champions Safety and Well-being – Know it.
