Job Summary We're hiring a warehouse sorter for our distribution floor. Each shift, you'll check labels on incoming parcels and get them onto the right cart or pallet for their next stop. Deliveries don't arrive on a tidy schedule, so a slow hour can flip into a packed dock without much warning, and the whole crew shifts over to clear it. It's standing and walking work. Someone on the floor will go over the label codes and aisle numbers with you early on, which is usually enough to get you moving on your own. Responsibilities Unloading parcels from trucks. Check each label and sort the parcel by destination, then move it to the matching cart, shelf, or pallet. Barcode scanning at the dock door. Set aside anything torn, crushed, or missing a label so a lead can decide what to do with it, since those are the ones that cause trouble later. Keeping aisles clear of loose cartons and trash. Sometimes helping load outgoing trucks at the end of the day. Qualifications You spot a label that doesn't match the box, even late in a long shift. When a truck shows up early, being willing to drop one task and pick up another keeps the dock moving. Keeping a cart of mixed parcels organized matters more than working quickly. Managing your time so one batch is sorted before the next arrives is generally what we look for. Showing up on time for scheduled shifts counts, since the next crew picks up where you leave off. Staying calm when the dock fills up helps everyone around you. Being a team player and treating coworkers with respect makes the shift go smoother, it's that simple. Pay: $24.96 - $30.06 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 78.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Disability insurance Flexible spending account Life insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
