Job Title: Shop & Warehouse Assistant (Golf Carts / Forklift) Location: Las Vegas, NV Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18 / hour Job Description We are a fast-paced, highly organized golf cart dealership looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Shop & Warehouse Assistant . If you are a proactive self-starter who enjoys a mix of physical work, equipment operation, and digital task tracking, you will thrive here. We use Basecamp to map out daily to-do lists. You will be expected to review your digital dashboard independently each morning, complete and check off your tasks throughout the day, and maintain high standards of quality without requiring constant hand-holding.Key Responsibilities Golf Cart Care & Fleet Management Detailing & Prep: Wash, clean, and detail customer golf carts, rental carts, and sales carts to showroom quality prior to delivery. Battery Maintenance: Check, fill, and maintain water levels in lead-acid golf cart batteries. Wrap and prep battery cores on pallets for vendor exchange. Fleet Power Management: Keep sales, customer, and rental fleets properly charged. Troubleshoot basic charging issues across the rental fleet. Lot Organization: Pull golf carts in and out of the shop each morning and evening. Keep the rental fleet, sales fleet, and side yard clean, organized, and secure. Warehouse, Forklift & Inventory Logistics Receiving: Safely operate a forklift to unload incoming parts shipments and heavy battery pallets. Inventory Control: Verify that incoming vendor shipments accurately match packing lists, report discrepancies, and efficiently put parts away on the proper shelves. Perform routine inventory counts and tag items as required. Customer Service & Shop Support Loading Assistance: Help customers safely load and unload golf carts and heavy batteries to and from their personal vehicles. Facilities Maintenance: Sweep the warehouse, empty trash cans, wash office windows, clean the shop bathrooms, and keep the shop's 5-gallon water coolers refilled. General Support: Run business errands and tackle any additional tasks assigned through Basecamp to support the daily workflow. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience required. Equipment Skills: Proven competency and safety when operating a forklift . Reliability: A rock-solid track record of punctual, dependable attendance . Reliable transportation is a non-negotiable requirement. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items (like golf cart batteries and 5-gallon water jugs) repeatedly throughout the day in a shop environment. Autonomy: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions independently, with strong attention to detail. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using basic smartphone/computer apps (like Basecamp) to track and check off daily work. Benefits Consistent, reliable schedule.
