We're an established ecommerce company that sells display cases for sporting goods (and other things) online. You would start in inventory and order fulfillment. But, over time move into other areas like customer service and possibly more. Must be a responsible person, self-starter, who can be trusted to work even when not under direct supervision. As for work in the warehouse (which you will primarily do): The Warehouse Worker receives and unpacks materials and supplies. He/she pulls orders and prepares goods for shipment and records shipment data. The Warehouse Worker is also responsible for stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Tasks and Responsibilities Pull orders Package finished product for shipping (inserting promo materials, extra foam if needed, labeling box, etc) Process finished product to prepare for shipping Unload merchandise from truck Unpack and organize inventory in staging area Verify incoming order to packing slip to ensure accuracy Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies Report any discrepancies or quality issues to warehouse manager Responsible for quality control, no damaged product is sent out Make safety a priority at all times, particularly when lifting and/or moving large boxes Accurate stocking and restocking of parts in proper locations Participate in regular inventory cycle counts Clean and maintain work area Move waste to dumpsters Turn off lights and HVAC when not in use Other duties as assigned. Once in a while it may be necessary to work different hours. We also could work with the right candidate to work fewer than 40 hours a week.
