Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk Allendale, MI USA Requisition ID: 32321 No of Openings: 1 Posted Date: Oct 28, 2026 Job Function: Administrative/Clerical Description: Within our 300-person manufacturing facility in Allendale, MI, we are seeking a qualified Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our plant team and continue moving our organization to even larger levels of food quality, safety, and production efficiencies. Although schedule for this role will primarily be during the day working Monday-Friday, Leprino Foods is a 24/7 operating facility so the employee must be willing and able to flex their schedule to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays depending on business needs. What You’ll Do: Maintain stocking levels through proper order releasing of purchased direct materials, including sending out approved purchase orders, receiving confirmations, and following-up on deliveries. Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate, timely, and complete, including: BOL’s, COA’s, and all other documents. Coordinate and reconcile all cheese sales returns to the Allendale facility in a timely manner, including inbound loads from other Leprino facilities. Ensure that pallets are released in SAP on timely basis to ensure outbound loads are allocated accurately, completely, and on time. Coordinate all cheese shipping activity from the Allendale facility, including scheduling load appointments and directing drivers to specific docks. Maintain vendor data through SAP system. Work with corporate purchasing for timely and proper set up of new suppliers. Evaluate stocking levels of direct materials on a timely basis. Determine frequency using ABC analysis with input from the department manager. Communicate effectively with co-workers and department management. Provide back-up for plant production scheduling function, as well as receiving function. You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): The ability to perform shift work in a 24/7 operational plant (the milk never stops coming). Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions in a fast paced environment Must be able to operate personal computer software, AS400, as well as other office equipment Familiarity or ability to learn SAP or similar integrated manufacturing system Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees of Leprino Foods as well as outside suppliers, customers, etc. Requires a high degree of accuracy while doing multiple tasks Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing Must be 18 years of age or older We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications): Previous experience in a food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility Leprino Foods celebrates and supports diversity.
