What You Will Be Doing:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure products are stored in their proper locations.
• Inspect products for damage and report shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
• Work with freight carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift and move products and materials.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping software.
• Forklift experience or certification is an asset. (Sit down propane forklift and clamp forklift)
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to [50 lbs / company requirement].
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after appropriate training.
In Return, You Will Receive:
• $22.00 per hour
• Flexible work schedule – lots of overtime available
• Paid weekly, every Friday.
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will be Working is:
Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm.
