For more than 30 years, our products have been sold through leading home improvement retailers, distributors, contractors, and building-product dealers across North America, including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Tractor Supply. Position Overview Screen Tight is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Lead to lead day-to-day floor operations across our warehouse and dedicated shipping line at our Georgetown manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on working lead position. You will spend the majority of your day on the floor coordinating employees, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while working alongside the team when needed—including helping pull, stage, and load orders. You will work closely with the Shipping Supervisor and Plant Manager to ensure orders move safely, accurately, and efficiently from inventory through shipment. The Shipping Supervisor will manage most shipping paperwork and administrative activities, while this position will focus primarily on floor execution and team leadership. Schedule & Compensation $17 - $20 per hour based on experience Overtime may be required based on production needs Monthly reliability bonuses Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily floor activities across the warehouse and dedicated shipping line Assign employees and adjust labor based on daily shipping priorities and workload Ensure customer orders are pulled, staged, prepared, and loaded accurately and on time Work alongside the team and personally assist with pulling, staging, material movement, and loading when needed Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and efficient warehouse, shipping line, and staging areas Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring materials are properly located, identified, moved, and recorded Coordinate with production to ensure finished goods flow efficiently into warehouse and shipping locations Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged products, and other floor-level issues Train and coach employees on standard work, safety, material handling, order fulfillment, and loading procedures Support the implementation and daily use of RF-SMART and NetSuite for inventory movements, order picking, staging, and shipping activities Drive continuous improvement in safety, warehouse organization, material flow, shipping accuracy, and productivity Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping, distribution, manufacturing, or a related operations environment Experience leading, training, or directing employees in a warehouse, shipping, or production environment Hands-on experience with order pulling, staging, material movement, and truck loading Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping and inventory accuracy Ability to organize people and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills Comfortable using inventory, warehouse, and shipping technology Willing and able to spend the majority of the workday on the floor performing hands-on warehouse and shipping work as needed Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and perform the physical requirements of the position Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing warehouse or shipping operation Forklift experience or certification Experience with LTL and full truckload shipments Experience with RF-SMART, NetSuite, or similar warehouse management and barcode-scanning systems Experience with 5S, warehouse organization, or continuous improvement Screen Tight is an equal opportunity employer.
