Warehouse Shipping Associate

We are a wholesale packaging products distributor looking for a full-time warehouse shipping, receiving and order processor for our business BABCOR Packaging and MrTakeOutBags.com *Candidates must live in the Greater Cranberry / Mars / Evans City general area. What You'll Do: Order Packing & Shipment Processing - The core of this role is picking customer orders from our warehouse inventory, preparing all shipments for FedEx or common carrier pickup. Warehouse Picking - Pull customer orders from warehouse and inventory as needed using Bin Locations and Item Codes Receiving, verifying and restocking incoming product shipments – Using Pallet Jacks and Forklifts to unload incoming shipments. Warehouse housekeeping – maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. Local Delivery – Occasional, as-needed backup to our full-time driver, in a company Transit van within the greater Pittsburgh area. Training of our processes will be provided. As part of our team, you'll be in regular communication with the office, so responsiveness and clear communication matters. On an as-needed basis, this position may include local deliveries in a company Transit van within the greater Pittsburgh area. Opportunity to grow into a lead role for the right candidate. What We're Looking For STRONG attention to detail - You'll need to distinguish between similar item codes and item descriptions, match paperwork to on-screen addresses and shipping methods, catch mistakes and watch for discrepancies. Reliable and punctua l - Our customers, the team and our carrier pickups depend on it Good communicator - you'll interact with both on-site teammates and the office regularly Cooperative and professional demeanor Interviews include a short hands-on accuracy exercise. Requirements Valid driver's license - must be verifiable at time of offer; this is a condition of hire Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Reliable personal transportation to 131 Kline Ave. Callery, PA 16024 (very near Evans City, Mars, Cranberry, and Butler) Basic computer skills: operate shipping software, email, scan / attach documents 1 or more years of related work experience preferred Day shift availability, Full time, Monday - Friday only.
