Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Warehouse Shipper/Receiver We are looking for an experienced, dependable Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our commercial kitchen equipment and supplies business. This role includes shipping, receiving, occasional deliveries, and general store and warehouse cleaning and maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using a computer, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments, checking quantities against packing slips and reporting discrepancies. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, delivery, or customer pickup. Load and unload merchandise safely. Keep inventory organized. Perform general store and warehouse cleaning and maintenance to keep the premises clean, safe, and organized. Use our computer system to record shipments and inventory movements. Work closely with sales and warehouse staff to ensure orders are accurate and ready on time. Make occasional customer deliveries using a company vehicle. Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience required. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our inventory system. A valid driver’s licence and a safe driving record. Experience driving a Freightliner truck is an asset. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification at the company’s expense. General maintenance experience is an asset. Good attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to safely lift and move equipment and supplies, using appropriate equipment and assistance.
