Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, and operate various material handling equipment. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and document receipt in warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400 Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization and storage Operate warehouse management systems to track shipments, inventory levels, and order fulfillment status Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit Assist with order picking using order pickers or other equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently Conduct basic math calculations for weight, measurements, and inventory counts Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with logistics teams and carriers Follow safety procedures during all loading, unloading, and storage activities Qualifications Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution preferred Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required; certification preferred but not mandatory Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and inventory accuracy Basic math skills for measurements, weights, and calculations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
