Warehouse Shipper/Order Picker

Our Winnipeg Distribution Centre has an opportunity for the right individual to join our team. This person will report to the Operations Manager. Warehouse duties: Pick and pack orders for doors and hardware Build skids and crates Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Work safely and abide by OH&S standards/requirements. Must be available to work the occasional weekend and overtime when required Maintain warehouse including putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal Ability to work as part of a team and keep pace in a busy environment Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager Skills and Abilities required : Knowledge and experience in shipping and safe operation of a forklift Forklift driver certification Experience in the door and hardware industry is an asset Be physically fit and able to lift large, heavy and bulky objects up to 80lbs without struggle Ability to build wood crates and pallets Valid driver's license Computer skills relating to inventory control High attention to detail in all areas of work Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Knowledge/familiar with using a computer is an asset Strong communication skills (phone, email and in person) Please visit www.westfour.ca for company information.
