Rex.zoneWarehouse Robotics Engineer (Mexico) — Remote (US-based) Rex.zone is hiring a mid-senior engineer to deploy, integrate, and operate warehouse robotics programs supporting Mexico fulfillment networks while working remotely from the US. You will blend software integration and operational reliability to improve throughput, uptime, and safety across AMR/AGV fleets and robotic workcells. What You’ll Do Plan and execute robot deployments, updates, and commissioning across warehouse sites serving Mexico Integrate robotics platforms with WMS/WCS, APIs, webhooks, and event/message streams for picking, sorting, putaway, and replenishment Configure maps, zones, and traffic rules for AMR navigation, congestion control, and site constraints Monitor telemetry and logs, perform root-cause analysis, and reduce incident rates to improve uptime and MTTR Create SOPs, runbooks, escalation paths, and acceptance tests for operations teams and rollouts Validate safety controls (e-stops, geofencing, speed limits, HRI policies) and support compliance practices Coordinate with vendors on bug fixes, firmware upgrades, and hardware reliability improvements Required Qualifications Mid-Senior experience in robotics, industrial automation, warehouse systems, or similar production environments Hands-on AMR/AGV fleet operations or robotic workcells experience in logistics/manufacturing System integration experience using APIs, middleware, message buses/queues, and monitoring/alerting stacks Working knowledge of WMS/WCS concepts (task allocation, wave planning, inventory and location services) Python proficiency and basic SQL for diagnostics, reporting, and automation Strong incident response skills (telemetry/log analysis, troubleshooting across hardware/network/software) Preferred ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics middleware PLCs/industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus), conveyors/sorters, and safety-rated devices Computer vision exposure (barcode reading, pallet/bin detection) and/or site mapping/simulation Bilingual English/Spanish for smoother coordination with Mexico site teams Work model Remote role based in the US supporting Mexico warehouse operations. You may join time-sensitive incident calls and coordinate rollout windows. This posting is explicitly Remote and remains Remote. Compensation Hourly base pay range: $30–$50/hr (USD), depending on experience and scope.
