Warehouse Receiving/Order entry
Contract Installations LLCPosition Summary The Receiving and Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying inventory, entering customer orders into the system, and maintaining accurate records. This role supports warehouse operations and customer service by ensuring products are received, processed, and documented efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Receiving Duties Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify received items against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices. Record and process received inventory in the company system. Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to management. Maintain accurate receiving documentation and inventory records. Inventory Order Entry Order Entry Duties Enter customer orders accurately into the order management system. Review orders for completeness, pricing, product availability, and shipping requirements. Communicate with customers, sales representatives, and warehouse personnel regarding order status and discrepancies. Process order changes, cancellations, and returns as required. Generate shipping documents, invoices, and related paperwork. Monitor order queues to ensure timely processing and fulfillment. Administrative Duties Maintain organized records and filing systems. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries when needed. Support warehouse and office staff with administrative tasks. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, order entry, customer service, or warehouse operations preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with ERP, inventory management, or order processing systems is a plus. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
