We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Manager to oversee the initial intake, triage, and inventory placement of all inbound electronics and shipments. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role establishes efficient intake workflows, manages dock personnel, and ensures 100% data matching between physical inventory and purchase orders to drive downstream processing speed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Inbound Intake & PO Verification Inbound Triage & Sorting: Direct and execute the unloading, physical receipt, and immediate triage of all inbound freight, parcel shipments, and bulk electronics lots. PO Verification: Systematically match incoming physical items, manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), quantities, and serial numbers against corresponding Purchase Orders (POs) and receiving logs. Discrepancy Escalation: Identify, flag, and escalate receiving discrepancies, damaged goods, or over/short shipments to Purchasing and Operations leadership immediately. 2. Inventory Routing & Sorting Recycling Queue Routing: Identify low-grade, obsolete, or non-repairable electronics during initial triage and direct them immediately to the recycling queue per facility standards. Tech Center Staging: Isolate high-grade, repairable, or resale-eligible electronics and stage them for testing and technical evaluation in the Tech Center. Condition Assignment: Evaluate and assign standard initial condition codes to complete items, sub-assemblies, and components based on visual inspection criteria. 3. Warehouse Operations & Team Management Inventory Putaway: Log received items into the Inventory Management System (IMS/ERP) and oversee accurate bin/location assignment in warehouse storage. Executive Reporting: Direct receiving personnel on the dock and report key operational metrics, receiving backlog, and dock capacity directly to the Chief Operating Officer. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Industry Background: 3+ years of experience in receiving, inventory management, or warehouse operations, ideally within electronics, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), or consumer tech recycling. Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with electronic hardware, component identification, MPN structures, and serial number patterns. Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience using ERP/WMS software and barcode scanning equipment for initial stock entries. Attention to Detail: Meticulous ability to match complex alphanumeric strings under daily output deadlines. Communication & Leadership: Ability to manage receiving personnel directly and present intake metrics clearly to executive leadership (COO). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to lift, maneuver, and shift items weighing up to 50 lbs independently. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate warehouse material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, forklifts) for extended periods on a concrete surface.
